Hello! I'm Lynk. I've been working on establishing The One Ups Guild since the March Beta. During the beta events, I was pleased to see the massive amounts of cooperation and overjoyed by the community. Now, with the mass of new players, some friendly, and some not so much, and some just out to take advantage of others, The One Ups Guild is at a loss.

I and the few active members are looking for players who want to get the most out of Guild Wars. I try my very best to help anyone in need, and give special attention to those in the Guild. I also expect to quest around with any and all potential Guild Members, as sort of a screening process. I also encourage Guild members to call apon each other for help when needed.

As for qualifications, I ask a few simple things.

Trust. Don't try and scam the Guild. In fact, don't scam anyone. Honesty is a big concern.

Maturity. Our purpose is to get the most out of Guild Wars. Trust me, fun will be had by all. Cracking jokes between battles and playing around is absolutely smiled upon, but spamming, flaming, and all that other annoying stuff, is surprisingly not tolerated. Also, just a side note, completely irrational names like "Im going to destroy you" and "My name is better than yours" and random spews of letters to form no sort of name at all are generally frowned upon. It's surprising how much more respect you will get with a decent name, as opposed to a statement.

Availability. I don't expect you to play 20 hours a day. Or even every day. Heck, just because I have no life doesn't mean you don't either!

But even if, say, once or twice a week, you at least log on to see what everyone else is doing. Eventually, in about a week or so, we will have a website (probably just a LJ community) in which you can post freely, in case you simply don't have time to get into GW.
